Keep in mind I have made up this whole scenario in my head, but you have to check this house out in Denver.
So I was looking in different cities on Zillow just to see what you get for your money. Then I found this one in Denver.
Actually, wait no, first I found this one.
I was reading the listing and right at the end it said the house next door was also for sale. So I cleared out any filters I had and saw three listings. House number one and the petty house. The third listing was for both houses. First of all, the petty house is almost my dream house. Built in 1885 and redone beautifully. So I went to the street view to see what was up. On the Zillow street view it showed a bunch of construction and a little old woman in the front yard. But the view was from 2019. The house is for sale 6 years after the construction. This piqued my interest.
House number one is so cute, and also checks a lot of boxes for things I want in house. Especially that kitchen! Plus a cute yard with off street parking and a great little front porch.
I googled the block to see if I could figure out what was being built. The Google street view showed a very different and more recent perspective.
But the satellite view y’all, the satellite view was the one that got me. Once I saw that, it made me think this could be the real life version of the house from Up!

There are no other houses on this block. The place next door is an event venue. Google maps showed a very different view 5 years later.
The only other thing of note that popped up when I googled the block was a post from 3 months ago (Feb 13) on X. It was from the police about a death investigation. Said the post would be updated if it was homicide, but since it wasn’t I guess not a homicide.
The house was listed for rent in March (3/15), then changed to a for sale in April (4/18), back for rent beginning of May (5/2), and now back for sale mid May (5/16). Surely developers would want that land, why haven’t they snatched it up?
What if? What if that little old lady in the front yard wrote that shit in her will? That it couldn’t be sold to developers? Now her family probably has to find someone willing to live in a house like that to sell it. That is some truly next level master class petty behavior. And honestly if it’s true, I guess I have to figure out a way to move to Denver and buy a house.
